Woodlandia LL-123 is an economical machine for individual craftsmen and small businesses

LL-123 is a log lathing machine that Woodlandia introduced in 2016. The machine is targeted for small businesses and individual craftsmen.

The log lathe LL-123 is intended for milling of roundish house logs from raw, dry or seasoned, barked or debarked logs of different species: pine, spruce, Douglas fir, cedar, hemlock and other.

The machine performs following operations:
• Rough & fine round dowel milling
• Swedish cope profile milling
• Round notch milling

 

 

LL-123 allows:

  • Min-Max input log length 40”-26 ft (1-8m)
  • Min-Max input log tip-butt dia: 7-16” (180-410mm)
  • Round dowels diameter range 6.5-14” (160-360mm)
  • Max default Swedish cope profile width: 5" (130mm)
  • Round notch diameter range: 6.5-10” (160-260mm)
  • Lateral kerfing cut: No
  • Can remove up to 4" of wood fiber per radius (8" per diameter) in one pass
     

 

All operations are made sequentially by one milling unit equipped with special combination cutter head

The machine is shipped as a machine kit, an owner is expected to assemble and setup the machine accordingly to provided assembling manual

 

 

Extra features available:

  • Laser guiding pointers for better log placement
  • Underneath belt conveyor for waste removing
  • Knife sharpening device
