Why shall I prefer Woodlandia Log Lathe over other competitive log lathes?

Any log lathe intended to produce house logs is 5-10 times slower than a log through-pass types of profiles (for instance, Woodlandia RLM machines) so if one chosses to buy a log lathe then the question would be: "what are criterias to choose the log lathe?". Please take in consideration following arguments:

  • Capabilities → Woodlandia LL-41.600 is robotic Log Home Milling Center capable to mill 600mm (24") dia logs. LL-700 can accommodate logs up to 27" in diameter. Woodlandia LL-41 is capable to be same effective (and sometimes even more effective and capable) than more expensive and sophisticated competitive log lathe machines. In the developed countries where wages are higher the time spent for milling logs is crucial for the profitability as more time the log milling takes - less profitable is the business. So automation of operations is very helpful to decrease dependency on labour. Woodlandia LL-41.600 and LL-700 are robotic machines.
  • Throughput → Woodlandia Log Lathes are faster or can work with the same speed as 99% of competitive products. Woodlandia LL-41 throughput is about 1 20ft (6m) long log every 30 minutes (if the manufactiring process is organized effectively) what is an everage speed of any log lathe milling long logs with the Swedish cope and notches.
  • Price → The cost of the machine is also part of "the profitability equation". Woodlandia is able to deliver quality machines for very reasonable price. Nobody in North America can compeet with our prices.
  • Reliability → we don't want our clients to have downtime due to technical issues. We don't want to spend our time for warranty repairs. So we prefer deliver robust & reliable machines that can last for long time. And Woodlandia machines are proven to be robust solution working for over 9 years in different countries (Canada, USA, Russia, Australia, New Zeland, UK, Austria, Romania, Czech Republic).
  • Expandability  → Wooldandia offers complete solutions for growing your manufacturing as your business grows. In addition to Log Lathes Woodlandia suppplies bunch of other machines (see Woodlandia RoundMaster line) which can increase the productivity of the house log manufacturing business on 25-100%. These are:
  • Log notching machines (so notching as time expensive operation can be done on different station in parallel with log turing process). Such concept is calld LL-41B (bundle) and is descibed in this chapter (please click here to review).
  • Log cross-cut machines (log chop saws)
  • Log mortising machinese (to mill slots in log ends for openings or/and log lengthwise interconenction)
  • Dove-tail sytems for tiber frame structures. Please inquire for details.
  • Log moulders
  • Equipent for infrastricture: log decks, roll-tables, loaders, waste conveyours, log conveyours, log sorting lines, saw mills. Please inquire for details.

Since this kind of machines have many rotating parts and requires high voltage power, the usage of the machine can be dangerous and hazardous if operating or assembling without proper knowledge, consciousness and awareness. Therefore we require each client to sign release of liabilities form to eliminate possible legal issues due to owner's improper installation or usage.
